How To Solo Over Key Changes

In this video lesson I explore three ways to approach soloing over key changes. Playing 'through' or 'over' a key change is often regarded as the holy grail for musicians who want to improvise.

The key is to not try to do much at once. I have found that if you can first of all get used to the concept of playing through a key change by learning how to anticipate when the change is coming and training yourself to 'think ahead,' that is the best place to start.
